Tried to upgrade to the latest APK tool, and what do you know, 1.5.2 still doesn’t keep the APK’s SDK level after decompiling (uses-sdk tag in the manifest). Only this time around in 1.5.2 it’s graduated from a bug to a feature:

Not a bug….If you require it to be there for analysis purposes, you will have to wait for 2.0 with the –analysis-mode option

Oh well, guess I’m going to have to do just that.
